Clipboard manager for Mac
PasteSpace remembers every text, link, image and file you copy and hands any of it back in seconds. Your passwords and card numbers lock themselves behind Touch ID, and all of it stays on your Mac.
Live demo. The real window, working. Try anything.
Type to search, click a row to copy it, and try the buttons under each item. Everything here works the way it does in the app.
The problem
A phone number, then a link, then a paragraph from a document. When you need the phone number again, it's buried under everything you copied since, so you go digging through emails, tabs and messages to find it again.
PasteSpace remembers what you copy, so you don't have to.
Why PasteSpace
Most clipboard managers remember what you copy. PasteSpace also knows what's sensitive, reads what's inside your images and documents, and never sends any of it anywhere.
Passwords, card numbers, IBANs and API keys are recognized the moment you copy them and encrypted behind Touch ID.
Search the words in your screenshots and, with Pro, inside your PDFs, Word and Excel files, scanned pages too.
No account, no cloud, no analytics. Every feature works offline, text recognition included.
Vault
PasteSpace recognizes what's sensitive the moment you copy it and encrypts it on your Mac. There's nothing to remember and nothing to set up.
How the Vault protects your data, and what it doesn't protect you from.
Text in images
Every image you copy is read on your Mac, in up to 30 languages. Search for a word that was on the receipt, the slide or the error message, and there it is. Copy just the text, or fix a misread word and save it.
Text recognition runs in a separate sandboxed helper with no network or file access of its own. How text recognition works
Text inside documents PRO
Copy a PDF, a Word file or an Excel workbook in Finder, and PasteSpace reads it. A search finds the file that holds your words, scanned PDFs included, and Quick Look highlights every match.
Search, filters and sorting
Search the text of every item, file names and the app each copy came from. Accents don't matter: “cafe” finds “café”. Filter by 16 kinds of content, from passwords and IBANs to documents and code, and sort nine ways.
Pro adds filters by date, state and source app, combined however you like.
Quick Look editor
Open any item in a floating panel with a full rich-text editor: fonts, colors, highlights, lists, undo and redo, and ⌘F to find. Saving never overwrites. Each edit becomes a new version, and the original stays exactly as you copied it.
Data Magic
PasteSpace offers only the ones that fit what you copied. A JSON response gets formatting and a Swift struct, a color gets conversions, a link with tracking gets it removed.

And everything else
Your address, IBAN, signature and standard replies, a shortcut away every time.
Select items with ⌘-click or ⇧-click, then copy, pin, lock or drag them together.
Drag text, images and files straight into other apps. Files arrive as real files.
Paste with formatting, or without it whenever you want. Or always.
Send any item through Messages, Mail or AirDrop, or turn text into a QR code.
The window opens where your pointer is, already on your newest copy.
Keep the window open above your apps while you work.
Choose apps whose copies are never recorded at all.
Erase your history every time PasteSpace quits. Vault items are always kept.
See when and in which app each item was copied. Delete it and copy it again later, and its history picks up where it left off.
Keep your history for 1, 7 or 30 days, or forever.
⌥⇧V to open, arrows to move, Return to copy, ⌥Return for plain text.
Privacy
PasteSpace collects no data at all. Your history lives only on your Mac, inside the macOS App Sandbox. The only connection is Apple's App Store, for purchases and the occasional rating request.
PasteSpace doesn't use the Accessibility permission, which would let an app watch and control everything you do. It puts your item on the clipboard, brings back the app you were in, and steps aside. The ⌘V stays yours.
This website doesn't track you either: no cookies, no analytics, nothing loaded from anyone else's servers.
Who it's for
Quotes, links and drafts, all searchable. Paste without broken formatting.
Client text stays on your Mac, and anything sensitive locks with one click.
API keys lock themselves, and a minified response becomes readable JSON in a click.
Find the PDF by a sentence inside it, scanned or not, with Pro.
Hex codes and brand copy pinned, colors converted in one click.
Standard replies pinned, IBANs and card numbers locked until you need them.
